2018 Tsisqan Lodge Officer Retreat

Over the weekend of November 9-11, the newly elected Tsisqan Lodge officers met for a weekend of training and planning. The officers were able to guide much of the weekend, beginning with discussing what traditions the lodge has, what they would like to keep, and if there were any that could be improved. This set the stage for the rest of the weekend training sessions.

These training sessions included clarifying the responsibilities each lodge officer has in their individual roles and as members of the Lodge
Executive Board. Officers took breakout sessions with their advisers to discuss the plans they have for the upcoming year before reconvening to share with their fellow officers.

One of the topics that was covered was Tsisqan’s upcoming 75th anniversary in 2019 and how each officer can support that. This includes the anniversary banquet event on March 22nd-24th and how the theme of the anniversary, “Many Fires, One Light” can be featured in all lodge events for the year. Throughout the weekend, each officer showed an enthusiasm for the upcoming tasks and how they can lead the way in brotherhood, cheerfulness, and service.

They now are preparing to lead similar trainings for the chapter officers in December.
