2019 Tsisqan Workshop Weekend Recap

On the weekend of February 22-24, Tsisqan Lodge held their Workshop Weekend at Camp Baker. With over 90 Arrowmen in attendance, Tsisqan exceeded their expected participation! This weekend was full of fun training, activities, and fellowship.
The rain didn’t stop the Arrowmen of Tsisqan Lodge from having a blast. Workshop weekend featured a trappers race, which involves throwing tomahawks, shooting arrows, and starting a fire with flint and steel. Some of the morning training sessions included period (19th century) fly fishing, moccasin making, and native plant use.

The fun weekend ended with lodge members saying farewell with a festive raffle, with sugary goodies and other fun items. The conclusion of another successful Workshop Weekend means the 75th Anniversary celebrations are nearing. Tsisqan Lodge will celebrate its 75th year of service to the Oregon Trail Council on March 22-24 in Eugene with a variety of activities, Trade-O-Ree, banquet, and Vigil Gathering.
