On the second weekend of March, Wauna La-Mon’tay Lodge met at Camp Meriwether for an event they called, Rockin’ Rendezvous, a weekend of fun and games on the beautiful Oregon coast. Wauna also hosted National Vice Chief Grant Kim, who gave leadership advice and amazing speeches to our members.
On Friday night, a huge karaoke event took place. Where the lodge stood up and belted out our favorite rock songs. The following day, many activities took place including the CPC’s new planetarium, tomahawks, black powder rifles, guess that tune, and much more. In the evening, an incredible show hosted by the Wauna La-Mon’tay shows team took place, highlighting upcoming events in the OA and recognizing our award recipients. This includes 8 Vigil candidates and 3 Founders Award recipients.
Overall, the weekend was an incredible success and the staff team organized by Wauna’s Program Vice Chief Nathan Lebednik did a great job.
