Wauna La-Mon’tay held its second lodge fellowship event of 2024, Fall Summit, at Camp Meriwether from October 11-13. This year’s theme was medieval, and participants enjoyed a fantastic weekend. On Friday night, we kicked off with exciting activities, including wax seal making and candle painting.
Saturday began with our lodge chief elections, and we elected Truman Grace as the 2025 lodge chief. Following this, we offered a variety of engaging workshops, such as chain mail bracelet making, candle making, patch design, and coat of arms creation.
After lunch, we continued with the elections for new vice chiefs, choosing Ethan Poelstra as programs VC, Vy Tran as membership VC, Duncan Anderson as ceremonies VC, Joey Henson as service VC, and Alison McKellar as communications VC. Once elections concluded, participants enjoyed a range of activities, including tomahawk throwing, trebuchet building, medieval Jeopardy, and an escape room.
In the evening, we had a medieval feast prepared by our kitchen staff, followed by chapter meetings and elections, and ending in the evening show. During the show, we witnessed the coronation of the new lodge officers, who shared their vision for the upcoming year. To close the day, a Brotherhood Ceremony was performed by our ceremonialists.
Thank you to everyone who attended this event! I am sure that 2025 will be an incredible year!
Yours in Brotherhood,
RaeAnn L.
