Brothers of Section W-1S,
I hope you are all doing well. With summer approaching, the section is getting ready for conclave and exciting future events. Though things are still unclear, we are doing our best to prepare for another awesome conclave!
As part of our training effort, on April 10, Section W-1S held our ACT Conference. Participants spent the day learning from our current section officers as well as current and past region officers. They learned about the importance of change, the significance of leadership, and how to use their skills to help the next generation of OA candidates. While the event did take place on Zoom, participants were still able to have discussions with one another and still gained valuable knowledge. The event was an overall success and a good experience. Thank you to those who came to participate in the ACT Conference, and I want to give special thanks to the staff for their hard work in making this possible.
We’re also planning an exciting training program at conclave this September. Once again, this year’s conclave will take place at Hoodoo Ski Area, from September 10-12. I will be giving you more updates once we have more details — stay tuned!
