Lo La’Qam Geela held its annual service project at Crater Lake National Park on August 18-20, 2023. This year, 36 Arrowmen and 17 other Scouts and Scouters participated, contributing 265 hours of service to the park.
Participants worked to place large rocks along parts of the Rim Trail to serve as guides to help people stay on the trails. They also filled some areas with gravel and hosted a “Trail Angel” station, serving fresh fruit and water for through hikers on the Pacific Crest Trail.
It was a great turnout and everyone had a great time providing cheerful service to Oregon’s only National Park.
