Brand and Design Lead

About This Position

The visual media lead is responsible for managing the section brand and the creation and management of all section brand and design projects. 

Reports to: Comms Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign and oversee the distribution of graphic design projects
  • Assist designers as needed
  • Work with designers to ensure the completion of projects
  • Collaborate with other leads to ensure needs are being met
  • Assists the brand manager in managing the section brand
  • Follows all team operating procedures and project workflows and ensures all deadlines are met.
  • Assists with the onboarding of new team members.
  • Attends and reports at all comms leadership meetings
  • Adheres to the Section G16 code of conduct, all team policies and procedures, and the Scout Oath and Law
  • Adheres to all Section G16 and Order of the Arrow branding and styling guidelines
  • Promotes active recruitment of new team members
  • Assigns other duties to team members as needed
  • Is a positive role model and representative of the section
  • Maintains regular communication with the comms lead and brand and design adviser.
  • Other duties as assigned by the comms lead
