About This Position
The social media adviser supports the Social Media Lead, platform manager, and platform support members in their duties.
Reports to: Comms Team Adviser
Key Responsibilities
- Supports the social media lead and other team members in the completion of their duties
- Contributes to the community management of all social media platforms
- Works with the social media lead to manage login access to all section social media accounts
- Facilitates collaboration with other team members and external stakeholders
- Attends all comms leadership and team meetings
- Adheres to the Section G16 code of conduct, all team policies and procedures, and the Scout Oath and Law
- Adheres to all Section G16 and Order of the Arrow branding and styling guidelines
- Promotes active recruitment of new team members
- Is a positive role model and representative of the section
- Maintains regular communication with the comms lead adviser and social media lead.
- Other duties as assigned by the comms lead adviser
