About This Position
Photographers are responsible for taking, editing, and organizing photos of section, lodge and other Order of the Arrow events. Volunteers serving as photographers are expected to provide their own equipment (phone cameras are acceptable).
Reports to: Visual Media Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Takes photos at events they attend
- Edits photos taken so they are ready for use
- Uploads photos to the team photo archive
- Works on special projects and requests as assigned by the visual media team lead.
- Follows all team operating procedures and project workflows and meets all deadlines
- Attends and participates in all team meetings
- Adheres to the Section G16 code of conduct, all team policies and procedures, and the Scout Oath and Law
- Adheres to all Section G16 and Order of the Arrow branding and styling guidelines
- Promotes active recruitment of new team members
- Is a positive role model and representative of the section
- Maintains regular communication with the visual media lead
- Other duties as assigned by the visual media lead
Special Qualifications
Candidates should have their own photography equipment (a phone camera is acceptable for most projects).
