Conclave Auction Staff

About This Position

Conclave Auction Staff work with the Auction Conclave Vice Chief to facilitate various aspects of the conclave auctions, including inventory management, item labeling, sorting, crowd management, and check-out.

Reports to: Auction Conclave Vice Chief

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the auction committee in inventorying and labeling auction items.
  • Help with sorting items and arranging them for display.
  • Aid in crowd management during the auction events to ensure smooth flow of attendees.
  • Assist attendees with questions regarding auction items and bidding procedures.
  • Monitor bidding activity and provide support to bidders as needed.
  • Assist with check-out procedures, including collecting payments and distributing items to winning bidders.
  • Engage with conclave attendees in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other auction staff and conclave leadership.
  • Adhere to the Section G16 code of conduct and the Scout Oath and Law.
  • Serve as a positive role model and representative of the section in all interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Auction CVC.
This position may require working late on Saturday evening to support the oral auction.
 
This position requires attendance at the 2024 Section G16 Conclave.
