About This Position
Content writers are responsible for creating high-quality written materials that effectively communication the message of the section and the Order of the Arrow. This role involves conducting research, writing, editing, and ensuring adherence to branding and styling guidelines.
Reports to: Digital Content Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Write content for section publications as assigned by the digital content lead
- Conduct interviews and research, as needed, to complete assigned tasks
- Promptly address edits and suggestions from the copy editor.
- Follows all team operating procedures and project workflows and meets all deadlines
- Attends and participates in all team meetings
- Adheres to the Section G16 code of conduct, all team policies and procedures, and the Scout Oath and Law
- Adheres to all Section G16 and Order of the Arrow branding and styling guidelines
- Promotes active recruitment of new team members
- Is a positive role model and representative of the section
- Maintains regular communication with the digital content lead
- Other duties as assigned by the digital content lead
