As mentioned in the November edition of The Section Scoop, the Order of the Arrow has adopted a new structure that reduces the number of regions from four to two.
Earlier this month, the names of these two regions were announced. The new regions are the “Eastern Region” and the “Gateway Region.”
Additionally, section names will be changing to align with the new region naming standards.
Starting on December 28, 2021, Section W-1S will be known as Section G16 of the Gateway Region.
While our name is changing, our geographic boundaries will remain the same.
Even though our name officially changes next week, it will take a couple of months for us to make the full transition. During this time, we ask for your patience and flexibility as our communication platforms may be down for extended periods while our team makes the necessary changes.
