Photographer

About This Position

Photographers are responsible for taking, editing, and organizing photos of section, lodge and other Order of the Arrow events. Volunteers serving as photographers are expected to provide their own equipment (phone cameras are acceptable).

Reports to: Photo/Video Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photographs at events that you already attend.
  • Edit photos as needed to ensure they are suitable for various communication channels.
  • Organize and upload photos to the designated folders within the team’s Google Drive.
  • Collaborate on special projects and fulfill requests as delegated by the Photo/Video Lead.
  • Attend and actively participate in all team meetings.
  • Adhere to the Section G16 code of conduct, team policies and procedures, and the Scout Oath and Law.
  • Adhere to all Section G16 and Order of the Arrow branding and styling guidelines.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment of new team members.
  • Serve as a positive role model and representative of the section in all interactions both online and offline.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Photo/Video Lead.

Special Qualifications

Candidates should have their own photography equipment (a phone camera is acceptable for most projects).
