About This Position
The platform manager serves as a community manager manager for the section Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts.
Reports to: Social Media Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a community manager manager for the section Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok accounts, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Scheduling and posting content
- Reposting content
- Interacting with content as the account
- Replying to direct messages
- Replying or engaging with comments, as necessary
- Monitoring comments
- Following all rules of engagement thoroughly
- Seeks new opportunities to expand and improve our social presence on all platforms.
- Ensures all aspects of the platforms are utilized (e.g. stories, stickers, reels, live, etc.) to engage followers.
- Assists with creating social media captions and developing unique content.
- Follows all team operating procedures and project workflows and meets all deadlines
- Attends and participates in all team meetings
- Adheres to the Section G16 code of conduct, all team policies and procedures, and the Scout Oath and Law
- Adheres to all Section G16 and Order of the Arrow branding and styling guidelines
- Promotes active recruitment of new team members
- Is a positive role model and representative of the section
- Maintains regular communication with the social media lead
- Other duties as assigned by the social media lead
Special Qualifications
Candidates for this position should be active users of and have a good understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Arrowmen must be at least 13 years old to serve in this position, as required by the terms and conditions of each social media platform.
