Videographer

About This Position

Videographers are responsible for creating captivating video content of events and activities within the section. They will work closely with other videographers and photographers to fulfill video content requests, special projects, and ensure timely editing and uploading of videos.

Reports to: Photo/Video Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality video content of events that you already attend.
  • Collaborate with the Photo/Video Lead and other team members on video content requests and special projects.
  • Edit video content to ensure it meets the team’s standards for quality and branding.
  • Upload editing videos to the designated folders in the team’s Google Drive.
  • Attend and actively participate in all team meetings.
  • Adhere to the Section G16 code of conduct, team policies and procedures, and the Scout Oath and Law.
  • Adhere to all Section G16 and Order of the Arrow branding and styling guidelines.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment of new team members.
  • Serve as a positive role model and representative of the section in all interactions both online and offline.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Photo/Video Lead.

Special Qualifications

Candidates should have their own videography equipment (a phone camera is acceptable for most projects). Some videography equipment and video editing software may be provided by the team.
