About This Position
The Web Adviser supports the Web Lead and web team members in the management and maintenance of the section website.
Reports to: Comms Team Adviser
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Web Lead in the complete of their duties.
- Assist web team members in completing tasks, offering guidance and feedback as needed.
- Collaborate with the Web Lead to manage login access to the section website.
- Maintain the functionality and security of the section website in coordination with the national section web team.
- Approve all web features added to the website.
- Facilitate collaboration among team members and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Attend all team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions.
- Adhere to the Section G16 code of conduct, team policies and procedures, and the Scout Oath and Law.
- Ensure compliance with all Section G16 and Order of the Arrow branding and styling guidelines.
- Actively participate in the recruitment of new team members.
- Serve as a positive role model and representative of the section in all interactions both online and offline.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Comms Team Adviser.
Special Qualifications
Candidates for this position should have experience with website development, design, and content management. Experience with WordPress, Elementor, CSS and HTML are preferred.
